Rangitoto ATV Summit Tour

The Otorohanga township is known as Kiwiana town and proudly presents the beautiful hanging flower baskets all along its shop front main street verandahs.
Otorohanga is the home of the original kiwi house and NZ first Kiwi bird breeding program. The Otorohanga Kiwi house has two walk through Kiwi complexes and a large walk through aviary containing native New Zealand bird life. Tuataras can be seen roaming freely within this complex. This provides a great opportunity for up close photography.
2017 was the introduction to the first amazingly successful The Otorohanga Steamfest centred around the iconic Otorohanga Railway station.
Stage 2:
This is where your tour guide will meet you and transport you through the beautiful Otorohanga landscape, to the base of the Rangitoto mountain range.
Now for an exciting cross hill country farm land tour to the summit on our specially designed smooth riding ATV 4WD work safety approved vehicle.
Cruising up to the range summit, you will observe pristine native bush and stunning vista views over the Waikato basin while taking the opportunity to meander and take photos at your leisure while enjoying your byo packed lunch and refreshments.
After enjoying the return to the base of the range you will be shuttled back to the Otorohanga Railway car park ready for your home bound journey.
Award winning JAN ALZ B&B ( pre book accommodation option) is available for those who would like a nights stop over to visit and catch the KIWI HOUSE morning feeding time or perhaps visit the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves before returning home or departing on further tour adventures
